Spring Snow Storm!!

Can you beleive it? I'm supposed to be planting my flowers, not shoveling snow!

The kids are having fun in the snow, though. It didn't take long for them to come in!

Bobo and Sophie didn't even want to go out to potty!! Burrrrr, too cold!

Back to school!

Well, the kids were not ready to go back to school! They stayed in bed as late as they could and then rushed to get ready. The story of our lives.

Silly kids. They really do like going to school. They just don't like crawling out of bed.

I got to work and like myself, Stephanie, showed me what she'd done all spring break. She sipped on her nyquill! She was so sick. How lowsy! I too, was sick over spring break. Not fun. Hang in there Steph, three more months and we'll get a vacation!LOL

Terry didn't get sick. She actually had a good time with family. How nice.

By the way, these are my friends, coworkers, and partners in crime!! LMAO!

End of Spring Break!!

Yeah!!Spring Break is over and I'm soooo releived. I missed my kids a lot. This is the first time that my babies (Caleb and Jacob)have been gone from home for a whole week. I think I missed them more than they missed me!
I was so excited when I saw the Papa's van approaching.

We unloaded Papa's van.

Then the boys said their goodbyes.

It's always so sad when we have to say goodbye. My boys love their Papa and Grandma so much that there are always tears on the way home. This is Papa heading home.

They say there is nothing to do in Spearman but yet they don't want to leave when it's time! I wish my family were closer!!!

After the tears, we had a good trip home. I love having my kids back. My house is alive again! I like it that way!!!!!!!!

It's the end of Spring Break & Diana's Wedding Day is Getting Closer!

Well, the wedding day is getting closer and I have a lot of work to do. I thought I would share with you what I am doing for my sister's wedding. I saw these wedding favors online and liked them but I couldn't find the template for them online. So, I made my own template. What do you think? I plan on making the groom one a little taller so that they are the same size. I think they turned out o.k. for a beginner. I also learned something about myself. I like making the templates better than I actually liked making the bag itself.

This is the little purse wedding favor that I made. It's easy to make so that I can make a lot of them without working to hard.

I found this shoe template online and thought it was really cute.

When I got the template and actually made it, I didn't like it as much. I thought it looked a little funny because the sole came all the way up the back as you can see.

So, I bet you can guess what I did. Yep, I made my own template. Using the existing one but tweaking it a little. I made it to where the sole actually lays like a real shoe. This is the practice shoe from the template I made.

See how the sole lays?

This is the finished product. How do you like it?

One more thing to share:
I made this as a little gift bag for my sister Sylvia. It's small. I just made it big enough to fit a gift card.

Now you know what I've been working on this week! Spring break is just about over and I'm glad!! I really miss my boys a lot! They are in every sense of the word BOYS. A pain in the behind sometimes but I sure do miss them when they are gone! I'm about to cry just thinking about those stinkers. I love them bunches! I can't wait to see them tomorrow!

Hi Everyone! I'm Back!!

I know I haven't posted since after Christmas but it seems like my life is so busy lately that I have no time for the computer. If I'm on the computer then that means that the dishes aren't being washed, the laundry is piling up or I'm neglecting my husband and kids and everyone knows we can't have that! Right? What in the world would they do?

Everything is pretty much the same. We went to The Carousel Skating fundraiser for Linwood on the 24th and the kids had a blast. It was fun watching them.

Jake was hugging the wall when we first got there. He and Caleb have never skated so it was a little scary at first.

It didn't take long for him to learn. He was skating on his own in no time!

Caleb, on the other hand, was a little braver. He found a little friend to skate with as soon as we got there. I think, maybe, the fact that she was a little girl had a little bit to do with his bravery. He couldn't appear like he didn't know what he was doing now could he?

See what I mean?

AJ and Ty just skated as if they've skated all of their lives. They were actually pretty good.

Ty hates me taking his picture!! Bratt!!!

AJ just doesn't care!

Well, family and friends, I will try to do better and post more often.

"Hi Ashley, I did it! Aren't you proud of me?"

"Hi Beca, I need some tutorials from you on how to keep up with it better! Love Ya!!"
